Edit a registrar
Open a registrar from the list to change its name or website.
What changing the name affects
The name is shown wherever a domain names its registrar, so editing it updates the Registrar column across your whole portfolio at once. The domains stay assigned to the same record; only its label changes.
That makes this the right way to fix a typo or standardise how a registrar is written, and it is better than adding a corrected entry alongside the old one.
Merging two entries for the same registrar
Editing cannot merge records. If the same registrar was added twice, renaming one to match the other leaves you with two identically named entries, which is worse than what you started with.
To merge them:
Pick the entry you are keeping.
Open Domain names and reassign every domain from the other entry to it, by editing each domain.
The registrar is not contacted
Editing changes Flexi Domains' record. Nothing is sent to the registrar, and nothing about your account there changes.
