Add a registrar
Records a company you buy domain names from, so your domains can point at it.
Get there from Add Registrar on the Registrars page, or from the Onboard Registrar link on the dashboard. Both open the same form.
What you need
A name. Whatever you call the registrar. It appears in the Registrar column on your domain list, so use the form you will recognise.
A website, optionally. Handy as a link straight to the place you log in to renew.
Check it is not already there
The list allows two entries with the same name, and they behave as separate registrars. Glance at the existing list before adding, particularly if someone else administers the account.
What happens next
The registrar becomes available when adding or editing a domain, and as the default registrar when importing a file.
Adding a registrar does not connect Flexi Domains to it. Nothing is signed in to, nothing is read from your account there, and no credentials are asked for. It is a label your domains can point at.
